Getting started as a teacher

This page summarizes the main areas teachers use in Nabunam.

Depending on your institution's deployment, some features may be enabled, hidden, or adapted to local workflows.

Manage my groups and classes

Start by checking that your groups, classes, or courses are correctly associated with your account.

In the teacher area, you can usually:

  • view your groups;
  • open a class detail page;
  • check the student list;
  • access related exams, activities, documents, and learning modules.

See: Manage groups and classes.

Create an exam

An exam should be attached to the right course or group so the correct students can access it.

Before publishing:

  • check the title, instructions, and dates;
  • add the required questions;
  • confirm points and grading criteria;
  • preview the student experience if available.

See: Create an exam.

Add questions

Questions should be clearly worded and weighted consistently.

See: Add questions.

Grade submissions

After an exam or activity, open the relevant grading page. Responses may be reviewed by student, question, or submission depending on the module.

See: Grade submissions.

Use AI-assisted grading

When enabled, AI-assisted grading should be treated as support for teacher judgment. The teacher remains responsible for validating, adjusting, and confirming grades.

See: AI-assisted grading.

Create or manage an online course

Nabunam can help structure a course into modules, lessons, activities, and assessments in a controlled educational setting.

See: Online courses.
