External exams
External exams let teachers record and grade assessments that were completed outside the Nabunam online exam flow.
Examples include:
- paper exams;
- institutional or ministry exams;
- exams completed in Moodle or another platform;
- in-person assessments with scanned copies.
The goal is to let teachers record grades, adjust feedback, and export results while keeping the original exam format.
Create an external exam
- In the teacher menu, open External exams.
- Click New external exam.
- Select the relevant course or group.
- Add the exam title, date, and optional description.
- Define the question structure and point values.
- Save the exam.
Extract or add questions
Depending on the configuration, questions may be added manually or extracted from an uploaded file.
For each question, verify:
- the question label;
- maximum points;
- expected answer or grading notes, if useful.
Grade an external exam
The grading page usually lets you:
- view the student list;
- import or attach response files;
- grade question by question;
- adjust points and comments;
- export a grading grid or results file when enabled.
Export results
Exports may be available for institutional tools or internal analysis. Always verify the format required by your institution before importing results elsewhere.
