Manage institutions, classes, and groups

Institutions, classes, groups, and courses structure access to content, exams, and results.

Before changing a structure

Check:

  • your institution's naming conventions;
  • the term or period;
  • associated teachers;
  • enrolled students;
  • exams or courses already attached.

Avoid duplicates

If data comes from an import or synchronization, avoid manually recreating an existing structure.

Duplicates can cause:

  • students in the wrong group;
  • exams published to the wrong place;
  • incomplete results;
  • confusing exports.

Correct an issue

If a structure seems incorrect, note:

  • its exact name;
  • affected users;
  • the expected course or group;
  • the observed impact.
